Register of Regulations Print Shop Legislative Library Subscription Services

Welcome to the Division of Research home page. The Division of Research was created by the Delaware General Assembly to act as a reference bureau for information relating or pertaining to legislative matters and subjects of interest to the Senate and House of Representatives.

The division provides a wide range of services, including (but not limited to) legislative research, bill drafting, committee staffing, and the development, production and distribution of public information concerning the General Assembly. The division also offers another public information service, the monthly publication of the Delaware Register of Regulations. This document enables interested citizens to find all of the regulations proposed by any state agency in one convenient location. The Register is available in hardcopy and can also be found on-line, here on the Internet, by clicking on the Register of Regulations button. The division also offers other reports and publications such as the Delaware Landlord/Tenant Code and the State of Delaware Constitution.

The division also operates a full service print shop, a legislative library and a bill service which answers inquiries about the status of legislation and provides individual copies of bills, resolutions and other legislative documents to all interested parties. Users who wish to subscribe to the Bill Service can do so on-line by selecting the Subscription Services. Callers can reach the Bill Service desk by dialing toll-free (800) 282-8545 (in-state only) or (302) 744-4114. The Division can be reached by FAX at (302) 739-3895.

While it is our goal to offer as much legislative information possible free of charge, through our bill services and the various Delaware General Assembly web pages, we also offer a number of subscription services, at low cost, to individuals and organizations in need of timely information about the Delaware General Assembly. These services are mailed, or faxed daily, to our subscribers on days when the legislature is in session. For more information contact the Division at
