Purpose of the Bill : The purpose of this bill is to create the Wilmington Education Improvement Commission to plan, recommend, and implement changes to improve the quality and availability of education for PK-12 students in the City of Wilmington.

Committee Findings: The committee found that the support for implementing meaningful changes in Delaware public education is extremely resonant and that this commission is an important step in realizing the recommended changes. The committee found the bill acceptable for release.
